Woodhaven, NY. First Congregational Church memorial resolution, November 6, 1932.
The First Congregational Church of Woodhaven was opened in 1863 and continued to operate until 1973. No information could be found on Mr. or Mrs. Schaeffler. This collection contains a memorial resoulution presented to Mr. William B. Schaeffler on the occasion of the dedication of the electric cross given to this church by him in memory of his beloved wife Mrs. William B. Schaeffler [Bertie].

World War I and II patches, undated.
This collection contains patches worn during World War I and II. While the first written page discusses that the scrapbook was created by members of the "First Church", there is no specific information as to where this first church is located. This collection includes patches from members of the marines, navy, coast guard, army and also civilian corps. Additionally, there is a set of three pins, a german mine ribbon and a campaign ribbons poster.

York, Me. First Parish Church records, 1731-1927.
The First Parish Church in York, Maine was established at some point between 1662 and 1673 with Shubael Drummer ordained as the first minister. Rev. Drummer was killed during a Native American raid in 1692 and was followed by Samuel Moody in 1698. Rev. Moody's pastorate ended in 1747 with his death. He was followed by Samuel Lyman in 1749 who served as minister until his death in 1810. Included within the collection are church and parish records, financial records, and vital records.
