The Berkshire and Columbia Missionary Foundation was a missionary society that was officially founded in February 1798. It is considered to be the oldest missionary society in the US, predating the "Haystack Movement" by eight years. Iain C. G. Campbell was born in St. Albans, England on June 15, 1912. He graduated from the University of St. Andrews in Scotland in 1935. He was ordained as a Congregationalist in Omaha, NE in June 1952.
