Abstract The North Grace Church’s origins began at a meeting on June 28, 1892 with twenty-four “charter members.” The newly formed church, then called the Congregational Church of North Berkeley, was led by Rev. Abstract The Congregational Foundation for Education was established in 1921 by the National Council of Congregational Churches. The program was created to help facilitate the relationships between the various churches in the Chicago area. The group worked to make resources and education available across all churches.
