Abstract Rev. William Allen Hallock was born in Plainfield, Mass., in 1794. William would graduate from Williams College at the age of 25 and in 1819 he would enter Andover Theological Seminary. Upon graduation, he was approached by Dr. Justin Edwards of the New England Tract Society. William Dana Locke was born in Fitzwilliam, NH in 1807, worked as a farmer, and served as superintendent of the Fitzwilliam schools. He died in 1886 in the town of Hillsborough, New Hampshire. This collection includes a book of small book of poems, a set of correspondences, essays and lectures.
