Abstract The land that became Camp Talahi, in Howell, Michigan, was purchased from the Young Women’s Christian Association of Detroit in 1949. A nonprofit trust was created in 1951 by the Congregational Association of Detroit and the Michigan-Indiana Synod of the Evangelical and Reformed Church to manage and operate the campground.
