Historical Note

Munro who held services at the Paradox school house. Through them, Rev. James Walker came to Paradox to organize the First Congregational Church. The church was formally organized on February 19, 1911.
In the early years of the church, the Sunday school and Ladies Aid Society were established by members. Worship continued in the town’s schoolhouse until 1954. Two years prior, land had been donated to build a church building, and after about two years of construction, the dedication service for the building was held on August 22, 1954.
