Abstract The First Congregational Church in Paradox, Colorado, was organized on February 19, 1911 with Rev. James Walker as the first minister. Worship was held in the Paradox school house until 1954 when a church building was constructed on land donated to the church. The church was dissolved in 1998 and the church building was given to the Paradox Fire Protection District in Paradox, CO.
