Abstract Reverend John Dennison Kingsbury was born in Hanover, New Hampshire on April 19, 1831. He attended University of Vermont and received his M.A. in 1852. He then went to the Andover Theological Seminary, graduating in 1856. Later on in life, the Andover Theological Seminary honored him with the degree of Doctor of Divinity in 1887.
