Biographical Note

Samuel Wolcott was born to Elihu and Rachel McClintock Wolcott in South Windsor, Connecticut, on July 2, 1813. He graduated from Yale College in 1833 and Andover Theological Seminart in 1837. He would go on to be an assisstant secretary for the A.B.C.F.M. Samuel would be ordained on November 1st, 1839. Some places where we worked as a minister includes Longmeadow, Belchertown, Providence, Chicago, and Cleveland. He died in Longmeadow, Massachusetts on February 24, 1886.
