Scope and Contents
The earliest material dates from 1840. The collecting policy was very unsystematic until 1919. The earlier volumes may well have been a personal compilation. The material is mostly newspaper clippings and printed matter arranged chronologically. The series end with a set of loose material arranged in folders by decade.
