The First Congregational Church of East Chicago was gathered in 1889 in the northwest corner of Indiana; this collection contains its institutional records. The Congregational church became a UCC Church after 1957 and ultimately closed in 1985. This collection has been minimally processed for access and is available for researcher use.
This collection includes church records, auxiliary group records, scrapbooks, and photographs from the First Congregational Church of East Chicago, Indiana.
