William B. Capron diary, 1865-1866
Scope and Contents
This series contains the papers of William B. Capron. The majority of the papers in this series are letters written by William to his immediate family members, such as Samuel M. Capron and Laura A. W. Biscoe (née Capron). This series also contains letters written to the American Board of Commissioners for Foreign Missions, manuscript writings, letters written in Tamil, and additional letters addressed to William. A portion of William's correspondence while in India was collected into a correspondence journal which can be found in the Sarah Brown Capron (née Hooker) series.
