Scope and Contents
This folder contains an undated "Character Sketch of Mrs. Dr. Crowninshield". It is unclear if this is a fictional narrative or about someone real. The Crowninshields were members of the Boston Brahmins but a cursory glance at the family history does not suggest that any early 20th century members were either doctors or made their residence in Brockton. It is also not clear that this character sketch is at all related to the First Church.
