  1. Proverbs 30:12 – "There is a generation that are pure in their own eyes, & yet is not washed from their filthiness."
  2. Proverbs 13:9 – "The light of the righteous rejoiceth: But the Lamp of the wicked shall be put out."
  3. Proverbs 1:33 – "But whoso hearkeneth unto me, shall dwell safely, & shall be quiet from fear of evil."
  4. Philippians 2:9-11 – "Wherefore God hath highly exalted him, & given him a name which is above every name: that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow…"
  5. Proverbs 23:17-18 – "Let not thine heart envy Sinners: but be thou in the fear of the Lord all the day long. For surely there is an End, & thine expectation shall not be cut off."
  6. Proverbs 19:8 – "He that getteth wisdom, loveth his own Soul: he that keepeth understanding shall find good."
  7. Proverbs 17:16 – "Wherefore is there a price in the hand of a Fool to get wisdom, seeing he hath no heart to it."
  8. Philippians 3:13-14 – "Brethren, I count not my self to have apprehended: but this one think I do, forgetting those things which are behind, & reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus."
  9. 2 Peter 3:14 – "Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, & blameless."
  10. 2 Peter 1:14 – "Knowing that shortly I must put off this my Tabernacle even as our Lord Jesus Christ hat shewed me."
  11. 1 Peter 4:3-4 – "For the time past of our lives may suffice us to have wrought the will of the gentiles, when we walked in lasciviousness, lusts, excess of wine, revellings, banquetings, & abominable idolatries…"
