Series IV reflects the extensive publications distributed to inform church congregations on the pro and anti-merger arguments. Pamphlets and publications from Malcolm K. Burton, the Committee for the Continuation of the COngregational Christian Church, the Conservative Congregational Christian Council, the United Church of Christ, the General Council, the General Synod of the Evangelical and Reformed Church, and the National Association of Congregational Christian Churches. The Series also includes much of the published legal documents. The Sub Series contains manuscripts of published and unpublished materials that examine the merger from during the process and after, and from insiders and those outside the process.
