Scope and Contents
Scrapbook 7, 1883-1899 includes materials pertaining to the Civil War, the elite in New England society, and Sunday School Union leaders. Also included are obituaries of Christian businessmen and philanthropists, an article on the Deep Sea Mission for Fishermen, a letter from Booker T. Washington, and clippings regarding the papacy, the Frieze of Prophets by John Singer Sargent in the Boston Public Library, and Pratt himself. The scrapbook also contains photographs and engravings of Lady Curzon, Mary Leiter, Jesus Christ as represented in art, images of Boston, Massachusetts, and an engraving of Albrecht Dürer.
