Historical Note

The Park Congregational Church was established in 1893 at 32nd Street and Montgomery Avenue in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The church moved into a different building at the intersection of Midvale Avenue and McMichael Street in 1926. That building had been constructed in 1915 as an Episcopal Mission and had served as the Church of the Good Shepherd. The sanctuary was refurbished in 1954. The process of dissolving the church began in 1977 and was concluded by 1982.
