This sub-series contains records directly produced by the Pilgrim Congregational Church related to the running of the church. The records includes the Act of incorporation, church manuals, annual meeting minutes, annual reports, Deacons’ and Trustees’ records, Church Committee and Standing Committee records, other committee records, and correspondence. Records books for 1872-1914 and “notes on business meetings” for 1915-1930 have these different types of records together in chronological order, along with some membership records. Committee records (not including the Church Committee) are included for the 1970s-1991 only, and do not provide complete coverage. Correspondence is intermittent.
