Scope and Contents
Scrapbook 2, 1820-1899 contains correspondence regarding the emancipation of Booker T. Washington, Rufus Pratt's death, and the New England Historical Society. Also included are issues of Panopolist and Missionary magazines, newspaper clippings on Congregationalist leaders, and receipts from donations to the State Library of Massachussets, New York State Library, and the American Board of Commissioners for Foreign Missions in 1820.
Correspondents present in scrapbook 2 include Caspar Rene Gregory, Phillips Brooks, Henry Clay Trumbull of the Sunday School Times, Selah Merrill, United States Consulate in Jerusalem, and Isaac H. Hall.
