Gloria Diener was born on March 20, 1902 in Douglas, Oklahoma. She was an educator and author and worked for the First Presbyterian Church of Oklahoma City and also the International Journal of Religious Education in Chicago. She taught in many schools across Illinois, Minnesota, Ohio and California. She married Carl Glover in 1936. She died in Monterey, California on April 20, 1970.
